There are two main methods used to polish concrete, each selected based on budget, performance requirements, slab condition and intended use:
- Grind & seal – A cost-effective system that uses topical sealers to achieve a polished appearance. It is commonly used where budget is a priority or where the condition of the existing concrete limits deeper mechanical polishing.
- Diamond polished concrete – A mechanically polished system using diamond tooling and concrete densifiers. This method is chosen for its durability, low maintenance and long-term performance, making it ideal for high-traffic residential and commercial spaces.
